Sara Hood is a Jacksonville based professional Makeup Artist. She is married to Ziggy Hood, a 7 year NFL vet, and is a mother of two young boys. Four years ago, Sara decided after many terrible experiences at makeup counters that she would teach herself the art of makeup. This was a difficult feat for a woman who hails herself as the least artistic woman on the planet. With tons of practice on herself and brave friends, she realized she had a knack for this very addicting art. She has been a professional makeup artist for the last two years. Watching the transformation, expression, and confidence a woman feels when she sees herself in makeup is the reason Sara loves her job. She doesn't believe in using makeup to change or hide oneself, but rather to enhance and embrace flaws and all the beauty a woman possesses.
